A medley of two original tunes the second of which was inspired by an interview I heard with the great double bass player and composer Dave Holland. He talked about his first gigs with Miles. He referred to a book of Sufi writing he was reading at the time from which he took the phrase "take your banner and plant it firmly in the sand". This notion helped him to state himself more confidently within the group in turn helping the other musicians converse with him musically.
